Inspired by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, a few members of the Advaita Ashrama (Kolkata) Study Circle had formed a group to practice selfless service among the distressed people. In 2017, we founded 'Anandaam'. Our main motto is to follow the principle of Swami Vivekananda- "Service to Man is service to GOD".
Recent Activities
JAGRITI- Summer Camp 2026 A two-day Summer Camp organized by Anandaam at Advaita Ashrama concluded yesterday. 34 boys and girls from various prestigious schools of Kolkata and suburbs participated in the camp.
Anandaam successfully organized the Devotees’ Convention on Saturday, 5th July 2025, at Vivekananda Hall, RMIC, Golpark. The sacred gathering brought together more than 900 devotees, spiritual aspirants, and well-wishers for an afternoon of devotion, reflection, and inspiration.
School Students' Value Education Program commenced on 26 March 2025.
The official website of ANANDAAM www.anandaam.org was officially launched by Revered Swami Ishatmanandaji Maharaj Minister-in-charge, Vivekananda Vedanta Society, Chicago, USA.
A new project of disseminating "Value Education" among the school students named 'ATMAVIKASH' was unfolded on 6th February 2025 with the Teachers Convention held at Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Narendrapur.
